Me to my partner, as I’m walking into the office this morning: Imagine if you were a road construction company foreman, and you were resurfacing the only road that goes conveniently from my house to the office.
Partner: OK
Me: Imagine if you had a choice to make.
Partner: OK

It’s a lifestyle, really, and I’m lovin’ it!

Three people in the last few days have asked me about my “diet”.  I’m losing weight, it’s showing enough in my face that people are noticing. So today’s post is an illustration of what I eat and how my thinking about food has changed.

A hard day

In the past day, yet another hurricane hit Texas and Louisiana,  there was a horrendous train wreck in LA that they’re now saying happened because the engineer (who died in the crash) missed the signal that told him to stop and allow the freight train to pass, an e-mail friend and fellow cancer survivor found [...]

Randomness

I met Minime’s boyfriend last Friday.  He seems mostly harmless. I didn’t terrorize him much, and he answered direct questions like “what do you do for a living” quite well.  Next time I’ll just kick his butt at some video game and we can see what he’s really worth.
