Today I:

vacuumed the whole upstairs, and cleaned a bit
got the air purifiers running again
paid bills
4 loads of laundry (the old dryer worked for about half of it, the rest is hanging)
made Rice and Beans, baked oatmeal, and boiled eggs. I dislike taking sandwiches to work, and frozen meals have gotten really old, so I cooked.

The vet was cautiously optomistic,  but really pleased that kitty was up and around, eating a little,  and using the litterbox.  The vet wants to see her again Tuesday. The cat is at the vet recovering from emergency surgery to clear an intestine that looked very blocked on the xrays.  Turned out that she had a two and a half inch section of intestine that was extremely inflamed/infected/icky, so they took that part out and sent it for biopsy along with a lymph node [...]
