1. Which of the following methods of travel do you most prefer: plane, train or automobile?
Road trips are FUN. I vote for them. I get a migraine from the pressure changes on planes, and the only trains I’ve ever been on are the local Chicago (RTA & CTA) trains.
2. What is the furthest distance you have traveled by each method listed above?
My last good road trip was Chicago to Morgantown WV, to Leesburg VA to Scranton PA, then on to Ithaca and Rochester NY then back to Chicago. The last time I flew was to Hawaii. It was worth the headache.
3. When flying, do you prefer to fly during the daytime or during the night?
Toss up, I like watching the scenery during the day, but I think it’s interesting seeing things lit up at night too. We flew back from Hawaii at night. It’s really dark over the ocean.

5. If you had the chance to take a one-year vacation and spend that time traveling anywhere in the country you wanted by motor home, would you do it, and if so, where would you most likely wind up?
Absolutely, as long as everything at home was taken care of. It’s hard to say where I’d wind up, somewhere in the mountains probably. I really want to explore the Ozarks and the Rockies. That would keep me busy for a while.
6. Do you have any superstitions or rituals you rely on before or during a big trip?
Nope, no travel rituals. Just get ready and go.
