The chiropractor is going well.  I brought him my X-Rays Monday.  Turns out I’m goofy on the inside too.  Aside from a minor amount of trauma induced  arthritis, my neck curves backwards. Most people have a sort of open C shape where their neck curves a bit with the back of the C facing their backs.  Mine is mostly straight with a bit of a forward curve.  That goes along with the deformity that I have between my shoulder blades where it curves in instead of out. I’m just backwards. Shut up.

He cracked my neck Monday, along with some Physical Therapy with the electric thingies again. It didn’t feel as good as Friday as I was leaving, but I’m noticing that today I can move a little easier. I go back tomorrow and Friday. The first couple of weeks is always a little more work to get everything back in alignment again. The 2000 mile road trip that I’m taking in three weeks will be a little more tolerable if my neck is halfway straightened out by then.

In other news: It turns out that my furnace is allergic to cat hair. It’s been acting funny, so I called the furnace guys this morning.  I give them credit, the guy was at my house in 2 hours. They’ve always given me really good service, above and beyond normal expectations.  He pointed out the cat fur sweater it was growing on the inside before he spent an hour vacuuming it out. Ew.  The guy went way beyond a standard cleaning and as far as gutting the furnace, cleaned it out, and cleaned every piece that he put back into it.  Roomie helped a bit, blowing out the motor. He’s got big boy tools. That compressor comes in handy occasionally.  That furnace has been cleaned before, but never that deeply and it needed it.  For a 13 year old furnace, & $300+ later,  it’s in good shape again.  YAY! That could have been a lot worse.   And yes Elena, I’m getting the contract to get it checked twice a year from now on.  I’ve tempted fate enough with this one.
